Allison Wiese
Allison Wiese (second-year resident) was born in Brooklyn. She earned her M.F.A. at the University of California, San Diego in 2000. She has had solo exhibitions at Sushi Performance and Visual Arts and at U.C.S.D.´s Herbert Marcuse Gallery, both in San Diego. Her work has been exhibited in group shows at the Austin Museum of Art, the Connemara Conservancy in Dallas and Hooks-Epstein Gallery in Houston, among other venues. This spring, she will be mounting a solo show at Houston´s Lawndale Art Center. |
