Mequitta Ahuja

Mequitta Ahuja (second-year resident) received her MFA from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2003 and her BA from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA in 1998. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States. In November 2005, she was chosen for 12 x 12: New Artists/New Work at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago. Her work is in the collection of the Ulrich Museum, Wichita. In 2007, her work will be in Global Feminisms, the inaugural exhibition at The Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum, co-curated by Linda Nochlin and Maura Reilly.
